Analysis of emerging business strategies using a methodology called Bluetools that assesses the company’s strategic alignment over time, the current business assumptions that influence its operations, the projects underway and the coherence between all these variables.

This assessment is based on the Social Progress Index (SPI), taking into account the company’s approach to sustainability and contrasts it with the SPI of the company’s target country or community, thus validating the company’s impact potential and the actions it is taking to influence social progress.

Course designed and taught by internationally recognized Ph.D. professors, creating the foundation for companies to understand and strengthen their finance, strategy and sustainability assessments, and thus acquire the soft skills needed to scale their businesses.

Having a portfolio of companies to evaluate possible investments can be a great challenge, since it is necessary to take into account financial, historical, projection and team variables. Even more so, when the impact potential or scale potential of the companies in which it is intended to invest is included in the equation.

The investor must understand the real needs of the investee to meet the needs of training, acceleration, governance, processes, among others, required for an ecosystem of investees to be successful in their local environment and deliver the promised financial results and impact.

IS THE GAP BETWEEN CURRENT FINANCING AND THE REAL FINANCING NEEDS OF MSMES. THE OPPORTUNITY TO FIND THAT INVESTMENT SPACE DEPENDS ON HAVING THE TOOLS TO BE ABLE TO KNOW AND EVALUATE THAT SEGMENT OF POTENTIAL INVESTMENT.

HOW WE DO IT

LEAN Evaluation has a methodology with a scientifically proven theoretical basis for evaluating investments from a financial, strategic and sustainability perspective. All these perspectives are put into action through an acceleration program that provides tools to strengthen investment recipients and nurture their financial skills, strategic analysis and understanding of sustainability.

LEAN Evaluation is a tool that enables impact investors, large companies, organizations and the financial sector to use a holistic approach to assess the financial and impact delivery potential of investees.

LEAN Evaluation is a comprehensive solution that delivers essential value when evaluating potential investments, and does so through four components that include a financial evaluation, a strategy evaluation, a sustainability evaluation and an acceleration program.

LEAN Evaluation provides investors with tools to evaluate companies and helps them to develop their capacity and channel the investment efforts received.

To know if a business is interesting and to determine its potential, as well as to evaluate a possible investment or a relationship with a company that has not yet stabilized, different aspects are evaluated:

COMPONENTS

The four parts of the solution are as follows:

Financial evaluation: is a complement to the more traditional credit and risk assessments, using information from the balance sheet, profit and loss statement and cash flow statement, so that the investor can make the best decisions. A quick way to understand the financial and operational soundness of a venture, the degree of preparedness in the face of a crisis or business opportunity, and the need for cash in the short and medium term.

Strategy evaluation: is an analysis of emerging business strategies using a methodology called Bluetools. Bluetools has a solid theoretical basis based on the concepts of Peter Drucker, Robert Chia, Henry Mintzberg, among others. This methodology evaluates the company’s strategic alignment over time, the current business assumptions that influence its operations, the projects underway and the coherence between all these variables.

Sustainability assessment: This assessment is based on the Social Progress Index (SPI). The SPI is an internationally recognized index that measures how well a society provides its people with the things that matter to them, based on the writings of Amartya Sen, Douglass North and Joseph Stiglitz. LEAN Evaluation takes into account the company’s approach to sustainability and contrasts it with the GPI of the company’s target country or community, thus validating the company’s potential impact and the actions it is taking to affect social progress.

Acceleration program: this is a course designed and taught by internationally recognized Ph.D. professors, creating the basis for companies to understand and strengthen their financial, strategic and sustainability assessments, and thus acquire the soft skills necessary to scale their businesses, and create productive and supportive networks with other program participants.
